The first day of school is generally a scary experience for me! Maile always has a new teacher and we never know what we are getting because they have always been new to the position. This year was much the same. I had already met the teacher and gotten good vibes from her, but there are 7 kids in her class and only one assistant. So off we went...
Maile was not happy about going into a new room. She kept trying to pull me to her old room. When she saw some familiar things, she cheered right up.
So begins the adventure of another school year. We sure hope it is a good one and that the teacher and assistant turn out to be as wonderful as the ones we had last year!

It looks like a fun classroom. I just know that this year will be the turning point, and she will just take off with her communications!
