It is hard to believe that my baby is 5! Her birthday happened to land on a school day so that was extra exciting. At school she got to wear a crown all day. Thursday also happens to be the day they go to chapel so that was even more fun!
Getting into chapel.
Nadia got to help lead the song.
More song leading. They also sang happy birthday of course.
A picture in all her birthday glory. I made her shirt for her. I want her birthday to be a special day for her. She loved showing off her #5.
We had her birthday party on Saturday when dad was home, but first they had some work to do. Nadia helped change the oil in his car.
All dressed up ready for the party, and of course she wore her 5 shirt again. Since she is a princess she had to have the tiara to go with it.

She had a couple of friends from church over. They decorated their own cupcakes. This is her deciding what to wish for.
She really wanted the "5" candle instead of five candles.
Excited about her pillow pet!
Showing off the money that Maggie sent her.
All in all it was a great birthday. Kept it small but she had a great time. She wanted a tea party and I dreamed of going all out, but let's be real. She did have a "tea party" for snacks and she got a tea set as a gift. She was super happy with the whole thing. Happy Birthday Baby!
